Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi makes history as the first female Speaker of the House. This Indepennt, meanning me, is eager to see sweeping reforms in the House and the Senate. Way to go Dems, let's take back the Congress and start kicking butt, and taking names!

My mood is all over the map. I have no idea if Michael and I are breaking up, but I have a cell phone, DSL, and land line phone contract that extends another year, costing $150, a month that I need to get out of, and have been panic-stricken about all day.
I have to figure out how to keep the DSL, cellphone, and land line, without paying that much.

Blogflogger of Blogit had some suggestions: Vonage for land line and long distance, Comcast cable for DSL and throw myself on the mercy of the sales rep on the phone by telling them my sob story. I wonder how that will go over. But I have to do something. I got a bill for $233.33 for a phone that I haVe not yet returned. I have to call soon. like tomorrow.
